Terms of Use — Citizen Ready: Thai

Last updated: August 6, 2026

By downloading or using Citizen Ready: Thai ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What this app is

Citizen Ready is a study tool for people preparing for the United States naturalization civics test. It provides practice questions, Thai translations, pronunciation guidance, spoken-answer practice, and mock interviews.

2. What this app is not

Citizen Ready is not legal advice. It is not a substitute for an immigration attorney or a Department of Justice accredited representative.

We do not:

If you have questions about your eligibility, your application, or your case, consult a licensed immigration attorney or a DOJ accredited representative. If any of the "good moral character" questions in the app apply to you, speak with an attorney before your interview.

3. Not affiliated with the government

Citizen Ready is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Department of Homeland Security, or any United States government agency.

Civics questions and answers come from public-domain USCIS study materials. Thai translations, pronunciation guides, explanations, and all app design and software are our own original work.

4. Accuracy and answers that change

We work to keep content accurate, but:

You are responsible for confirming that you are studying the correct test for your filing date.

5. Purchases

The app is free to use with a daily question limit. An optional one-time purchase removes that limit and unlocks all features permanently.

6. Your data

The app stores your progress on your device only. We do not collect it. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You are responsible for your device and your data. If you delete the app, your progress is deleted with it, and we cannot recover it.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not:

8. Speech recognition

Spoken-answer practice uses your device's built-in speech recognition. Accuracy varies with accent, background noise, and device. The app is deliberately lenient in grading and does not judge pronunciation quality.

Being marked correct in the app does not guarantee a USCIS officer will accept your answer, and being marked incorrect does not mean an officer would reject it. Use it as practice, not as a verdict.

9. Readiness score

The readiness score is an estimate based on your practice history and a statistical simulation of the real exam. It is a study aid, not a prediction. A high score does not guarantee passing, and a low score does not mean you will fail.

10. No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its content is complete or current at all times.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any outcome of your naturalization interview or immigration case.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
