Privacy Policy — Citizen Ready: Thai

Last updated: August 6, 2026

The short version

Citizen Ready does not collect your data. There is no account, no sign-up, and no analytics. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

We say this plainly because we mean it — not as marketing language, but because the app is built so that collecting your data is not technically possible.

What we do not collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or sell:

There is no user account because the app does not need one. There is no analytics SDK. There are no advertisements and no advertising partners.

What stays on your device

The following is stored locally on your iPhone and never leaves it:

This information is stored in your device's app storage. If you delete the app, it is deleted with it. We have no copy and no way to retrieve it.

Microphone and speech recognition

Citizen Ready lets you practice saying answers aloud, because the real USCIS civics test is spoken.

You may deny or revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings. The app remains fully usable without it.

Network access

Citizen Ready works entirely offline. All civics questions, translations, and audio are included in the app.

The app connects to the internet only when you:

We operate no servers and receive no data from the app.

Purchases

The optional one-time purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment information, credit card number, or Apple ID.

Apple provides us only with anonymous, aggregate sales information. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

The purchase supports Family Sharing, which is managed entirely by Apple.

Children

Citizen Ready is intended for adults preparing for United States naturalization. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Third parties

Citizen Ready contains no third-party SDKs, no analytics libraries, no advertising networks, and no tracking of any kind.

Civics questions and answers are taken from public-domain materials published by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Citizen Ready is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by USCIS or the United States government.

Your rights

Because we do not collect or hold any of your information, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete on your behalf.

You control all of your data directly:

This satisfies our obligations under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and similar laws, because we are not a data controller or processor of any personal information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the app's release notes. If we ever begin collecting data — which we have no plans to do — we will say so clearly and ask for your consent first.
